Vacuum Process Casting - Moulding Technology

Vacuum Process Molding Plants are over 600 foundries in China.

This moulding process is based on generating a vacuum when a EVA Film is deep drawn over an special pattern, in order to maintain the mould shape in sand without binding material, right through the stages of pouring, cooling and emptying.

Vacuum casting production line (V-Mold Process) is a special casting method invented and developed in Japan in the 20th century. Vacuum molding casting’s surface is in good quality, less casting defects, easy mold release, and high precision in cast size, and the sand is without binder, thus, it is almost full recovery, which reduces material costs.

Benefits Cost Reduction by 15-20% compared to conventional Moulding Process:

§  98% reduction in Sand Consumption
§  No water, no binder and no additives in Sand
§  A minimum cost of Rs 10 per kg is your net saving in this process
§  Very Smooth Surface Finish
§  Excellent Dimensional Accuracy
§  Zero Draft
§  Thin Wall Sections Possible
§  Excellent Reproduction of Details
§  Increased Pattern Life
§  Very Easy Knock-out, within no time.
§  Moisture related casting defects is zero.
§  Yield increases.
